Facility Upgrades Project

SiFi’s project objective was installation of pneumatic conveying pipelines to cement silos. The project required SiFi to work between locations that involved the main operational plant and plant expansion. All materials needed for the scope of the project needed to be craned to the roof and moved through building enclosure walls. The work environment required full face respirators, due to the amount of cement dust produced. SiFi successfully installed all materials at the appropriate elevations without any damage or injury.

Additionally, SiFi was responsible for the installation of the horizontal portion of the pipeline as well as pipe supports and platforms on an existing pipe bridge. SiFi completed this scope without upsetting the regular flow of client transportation vehicles moving product and other expansion activities requiring interval use of our work area for moving cranes and equipment.
