Mining Project

SiFi was given the objective to remove and re-install two boiler feedwater preheaters, as well as two nitric acid cooler condenser heat exchangers. SiFi was required to complete the scope of work during the 3-week plant shutdown. To ensure full efficiency, SiFi used the resources of 3D scanning to pre-measure the exchangers and match them against the provided manufacturer supply drawings. This ensured SiFi could catch any discrepancies ahead of time and correct them, as to save valuable shut down time.

SiFi Engineering and Fabrication Ltd. delivered the project on schedule as per contract with minimal out of scope change orders.
